Strategy Built in the Real World

I'm Susan Powell, founder of Powell Strategic Solutions. My background spans campaign management, field operations, volunteer mobilization, digital strategy, and small-business marketing — with much of that experience built where strategy matters most: on the ground.

I've managed and supported campaigns ranging from highly grassroots local races to large-scale field operations.

As Campaign Manager for Corbin Sabol, I helped build and execute an unconventional, grassroots campaign centered on direct voter contact. With fundraising intentionally taking a back seat, we focused our resources where they could have the greatest impact — consistently getting into neighborhoods, talking to voters, and building visibility through an aggressive door-to-door strategy.

As Field Director for Amy Reichert's campaign for County Supervisor, I helped oversee a volunteer database numbering in the thousands and coordinated weekly field efforts that generated tens of thousands of voter contacts through door knocking and phone banking.

I've also worked on campaigns for Jim Kelly, Rob Shield, and Gary Woods, coordinating volunteers, canvassing efforts, phone banks, events, and voter outreach across thousands of contacts.
